BREAKING: Nollywood Actor Adeshina Okiki ‘Janmole’ Dies After Fatal Road Accident

The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of Nollywood actor Adeshina Okiki, popularly known as Janmole, after a tragic road accident.

The heartbreaking news was confirmed by Bolaji Amusan, widely known as Mr Latin and President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, in a statement shared on Instagram.

According to Mr Latin, the actor succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash, describing his passing as a painful loss to the entertainment industry.

“May the soul of our departed colleague, Adesina Okiki Janmole, who tragically lost his life in an accident, rest in perfect peace,” he wrote.

“May God grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. He will be greatly missed. Amen.”

The announcement sparked an outpouring of grief from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers, many of whom took to social media to pay tribute to the late actor and celebrate his contributions to the Yoruba movie industry.

Among those who mourned him was fellow actor Jomiloju Olunbe, who shared an emotional tribute while recalling their final moments together on a movie set.

According to Olunbe, Janmole had jokingly teased him during filming, unaware that it would be their last appearance together.

“I never knew it would be the last time on set with him. In this very video, he was saying, ‘Jomiloju, I no know say I fine pass you like this o.’ What a life! R.I.P Okiki Adeshina Oshin,” he wrote.

Janmole was known for his appearances in several Yoruba films, including Agunbaniro, Iyawo Asante and Ogbon Inu.

His sudden death marks another painful loss for Nollywood, leaving colleagues and fans saddened by the departure of a talented actor whose work entertained many audiences.
