Czech champions move to secure Super Eagles prospect after impressive season with Karvina

Czech league champions Slavia Prague have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Nigerian forward Emmanuel Ayaosi from Karvina ahead of the new football season.
The 21-year-old attacker is expected to become the club’s first signing of the summer transfer window after attracting attention with his performances in the Czech league.

Reports indicate that Slavia Prague moved ahead of several interested clubs, including Viktoria Plzen, to secure the signature of the highly rated Nigerian prospect.
According to sources close to the deal, all necessary paperwork has reportedly been completed, with an official announcement expected soon.

Ayaosi enjoyed breakthrough campaign
Ayaosi began his football career in Nigeria with Dakkada FC before moving to Czech side Karvina in 2023.

After initially featuring for the club’s youth setup, he successfully broke into the senior team and established himself as one of the emerging Nigerian talents in European football.
The forward enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 season, contributing goals and assists across competitions while playing a major role in Karvina’s attacking performances.

His displays reportedly attracted interest during the January transfer window, although an earlier move elsewhere did not materialise due to valuation disagreements.

At Slavia Prague, Ayaosi is expected to join fellow Nigerian players Igoh Ogbu and David Moses, a development that could help ease his adaptation at the club.
The move would also give the young forward the opportunity to compete in the UEFA Champions League as Slavia Prague prepare to defend their domestic title next season.

Strong performances with the Czech champions could further boost Ayaosi’s chances of earning recognition at international level with Nigeria’s Super Eagles setup.
