Arsenal Fans Celebrate Historic Premier League Triumph in Abeokuta
Supporters flood Panseke-Okelowo with flags and cheers as Gunners end 22-year wait for league title
Arsenal supporters in Abeokuta, Ogun State, took to the streets on May 25 to celebrate the club’s Premier League triumph after the North London side secured their first league title in 22 years.
The celebration, which took place around the Panseke-Okelowo area, saw excited fans waving Arsenal flags, chanting club songs, and sharing emotional moments following the club’s long-awaited success.
Speaking during the celebration, one supporter described the victory as “a dream come true” after years of disappointment and near misses.

According to him, many fans had remained loyal to the club despite repeated setbacks over the years, making the title victory even more emotional.
“After years of trying and hoping, we are finally champions again. This moment means a lot to us,” the supporter said during an interview with one of our reporter at JUSTNEWSONLY.
Arsenal officially clinched the Premier League title after Manchester City failed to secure a crucial result earlier in the week, ending the Gunners’ 22-year wait for the trophy under manager Mikel Arteta.
The club later lifted the trophy following their final league match, sparking celebrations among supporters across different parts of the world, including Nigeria.
