Nollywood actor and politician Yul Edochie has explained why he remains a strong supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that his political stance is rooted in what he believes to be divine guidance.
Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast, Edochie said he relies heavily on spiritual direction when making important decisions, including those relating to politics.
According to the actor, he feels consistently led to support President Tinubu and remains committed to that position because he believes it aligns with God’s instructions for him.
Edochie noted that while many Nigerians may hold different political views, his own choices are influenced by personal convictions and what he considers clear spiritual guidance.
He stressed that his support for the President is not based on public sentiment or social media pressure but on a belief that he is following a path directed by God.
He also stated in one of his post as of May 23,2026 “I stand firmly with President Tinubu 100% Every obstacle, every huddle, every challenge that has been put before him to stop his government grom succeeding , may God give him the strength to conquer all and deliver good governance to Nigerians”
The actor has remained one of the most outspoken celebrity supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Tinubu, frequently expressing his views on national issues and governance.
